WSI & Lifeguard Training Courses
Train for your certification as a Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard. We offer convenient schedules to get you certified in time to qualify for that summer job! For the summer we are offering a course, Responding to Emergencies, perfect for a camp health officer or counselor.

Open Swim
Open swim is available for adults and children in the recreational section of the program pool. No inflatable flotation devices are permitted. See our Pool Schedule for times.
Lap Swimming
The Lap Pool is for lap swimming or lap exercise. Children under the age of 14 may lap swim upon completion of a lap swim evaluation.
Two lanes are always available: one designated for circle swimming, one designated for non-circle swim with a 30-minute limit when others are waiting.
Pool Roof Will Be Open
When chemicals are added to the pools; to temporarily air Aquatics Center; or when it’s 50º or warmer all day.

The Whirlpool
The whirlpool is for people age 18 and over. Please note precautions listed at the whirpool area.
Children Under 10 years
Children under 10 years of age using the program pool must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the Aquatic Center. Children who are unable to swim by themselves are required to have a parent in the water with them at all times. Flotation devices are not allowed.
Diaper Policy
In an effort to prevent accidents in the pool, we must insist that children under 4 who are not potty trained wear a swim diaper, lined pants and and swim trunks or bathing suit. This is double protection for your child.
For your convenience, diapers and swim trunks are available for purchase at the Reception Desk.
